Recap OMR18: trbo rocked – like a rock star!

OMR 2018 trbo1

On March 22nd the time had come again – the OMR2018 opened its gates. Already on the evening before many events – some invite-only but also as networking events for all – opened the two Expo and Masterclass/Conference days.

This year we joined the booth of our partner CrossEngage – directly at the stage in hall 4 and thus had a premium view of the “Big Picture Stage”. Magnus Walker as the opener was an optical highlight right from the start, followed by Lena Gercke. Of course, we could only follow the program half-heartedly because we were there to “work”.

However, we don’t want to refer to what we did there as “work”. We had incredibly great meetings – both with existing customers and prospects. Besides the presentation of our novelties – some of our customers were very delighted – we also convinced many interested parties and already received promises for a contract at the fair. If that isn’t a success!

And then there’s feedback saying that “we provide the best support from all the service providers in the field” – who doesn’t love to hear that?

Enough self-praise – but we are still proud!

The Masterclass on “Marketing and CRM Trends 2018” by Markus and Manuel of CrossEngage, was a huge success, unfortunately Felix was unable to attend. With 750 registrations and only 150 places, it was one of the most coveted Masterclasses of this year, many interested people came to us after the lecture and wanted to learn more about the topic. Additionally, everyone could follow the Masterclass on the Facebook live stream. Those who coulnd’t see the masterclass and are interested in the slides are welcome to contact us at info@trbo.com.

Unfortunately, the program in the afternoon was too good and the hall too crowded for some of our customers to come in. Even we exhibitors had to take on the long waiting lines in front of the toilets because leaving the hall was too risky. We sweetened our time by reading the Twitter hashtag #OMR18.

And right on time with the end of the official program, our small stand party started. Despite the early reordering of beer, we sat on dry land in between. But our great organizer Aylin from CrossEngage made everything possible so that the beer supply came fast and the party could go on.

As always on the second day of the fair – hangover mood in the morning!

Due to the conference running parallel to the Expo, which was very well attended, there was less action than on the first day. But since we had already arranged some appointments in advance, the second day was also marked by many good conversations.

Tired, but cheerful, we packed up at the end of the “Big Picture Stage” program – we flew home or visited the party… only the strong survive.

Two exciting days, many familiar faces, great new contacts, and one learning: OMR Premium Hall can do a lot – you’re right in the middle instead of just taking part.

A big thanks to CrossEngage, with whom we not only cooperate on a technological level, but also rock the rock stars.

With this in mind – see you next year!
