Five questions for … Jonas Kinder

Jonas Kinder

Who are the people behind trbo? In our blog series, our employees introduce themselves – and answer five questions about themselves and their work. Today we talk to our Client Success Manager Jonas Kinder.

1. When and how did you join trbo?

I came across trbo at the Online Career Day in 2019. At that time, I was actually open to many different things in regard to content and didn’t even have the company trbo on my radar that day.

However, my current supervisor was on stage at the time for a panel discussion that was ostensibly about corporate cultures, new work, etc. I happened to be watching during a short break and that’s how I became aware of trbo. Afterwards, I presented my documents at the booth and then everything actually went relatively quickly.

2. What is your job at trbo?

In the beginning I worked in the sales team of trbo.

But now I have been Client Success Manager for about 1 year and I am very happy with it. I support German and English speaking customers in the implementation and evaluation of trbo measures and the long-term exploitation of the various possibilities of our software.

3. What would your ego have said 10 years ago about your current career choice?

That’s a very good question. Probably the 2012 – Jonas would be quite satisfied. At that time, I still tended to think that my focus would be more in the direction of finance or banking.

However, that was already a time when I realized that, from my point of view, this can sometimes be a bit monotonous in terms of tasks on a day-to-day basis and that other focus fields actually still interest me as well. Nevertheless, finance is still an absolute point of interest for me – the part before that almost sounded a bit too negative. 😉

 4. What do your colleagues not know about you so far?

Quite a few things! What I don’t communicate so offensively: I have quite a high anxiety and with it also a slight fear of flying. You have to be able to overcome the latter to some extent in order to see more of the world. But even nowadays, unfortunately, every flight still makes me pretty nervous.

5. What has been the most embarrassing moment in your working life so far?

Maybe the moment when I was so nervous on one of my first days at work due to all the new impressions that I got it wrong when ordering my lunch and ordered a “Schnitzel mit Kräuterschnitzel”? 😀

Bonus question: What did you want to be when you grew up?

Until the end of elementary school, I was one of the guys who was convinced I was going to be a professional soccer player. In retrospect, however, I’m quite happy that I didn’t pursue this path so stringently. But between you and me, the talent would have already been there. 😉
