Recap time! As usual, we didn’t miss the opportunity to participate in the renowned K5 Future Retail Conference in Berlin this year. Together with our colleagues from Chatchamp, we set up shop and talked with visitors at a large booth in a brand new design.
Engaging conversations and curious visitors
Our co-branded booth caught visitors’ attention right from the start. Ideally located between two stages, the booth attracted a large number of conference participants curious to learn more about our personalization and guided selling solutions. We were well prepared and looking forward to starting conversations and sharing our expertise.
And of course, our popular currywurst was not to be missed: Throughout the day, hungry visitors followed their noses to our booth, taking the opportunity to talk to us about the possibilities of personalization in e-commerce between delicious bites.
In the afternoon, Felix Schröder, co-founder and CEO of Chatchamp, and Nadeschda Dreger, digital analyst at Cosnova, took part in a talk. The two spoke to a packed audience about how Cosnova uses guided selling and personalization to delight customers online and significantly improve KPIs.
K5 COMMERCE award for personalization: A special honor
The highlight of the first evening was undoubtedly the inaugural presentation of the K5 COMMERCE Award. The award was presented to winners in several categories in a two-step selection process: The first step was a public vote, after which a jury selected the winners from the top 5 vendors. In the personalization category, we were able to beat out the other finalists and take home the coveted trophy.
Successful 2nd day despite party the night before
Even though we had every reason to celebrate on the first evening with the K5 COMMERCE Award and the live band really heated up the party crowd, we didn’t let that slow us down on the second day of the fair. While others enjoyed a weißwurst (veal sausage) breakfast in the other hall, our booth’s first visitors were very happy to enjoy our currywurst as a second, Berlin-style breakfast.
Just like the first day, our booth was full of activity and we took the opportunity to dive deeper into the world of personalization, optimization and testing with retailers. Guided selling in the form of chatbots or wizards, Chatchamp’s specialty, also attracted a lot of visitor interest.
Back to Munich with new impressions and a shiny new award
After two successful days, it was time to leave K5 behind and head home to Munich. We returned with many new contacts, inspiring conversations and an award to share with our colleagues. Participating in K5 was a great success and an ideal opportunity to present ourselves as one of the leading providers of personalization solutions in e-commerce.
