Today, we’re pleased to present a favorite from Karyna Gornishevska: Advent campaigns, specifically the Advent calendar.

As a Customer Success Manager, there is nothing I enjoy more than customer requests that require creative and interactive solutions. I especially enjoy working on projects where we can brainstorm with the customer to develop a new campaign. It’s a special moment to see ideas turn into measurable results.

trbo has a lot of great features. But this time of year, it’s the perfect time to get ready for the holidays and think about trbo’s Advent Calendar. And why is that? Because it offers the perfect blend of creativity, engagement and value to the end user. With this feature, you can surprise and delight your audience every day leading up to Christmas, resulting in increased customer loyalty and higher conversion rates.

3. Feature Spotlight: Can You Provide an Example and Explain in Detail?

Newsha offered their customers an exclusive offer for each week of Advent, which resulted in a significant increase in site interactions and a significant increase in sales throughout the Advent season.

4. Optimal Timing: When is Implementation Most Effective in the User Journey?

The Advent Calendar Layer feature is ideal for placement on the homepage or as a pop-up in a visible location on the site. The best time to use it is during the holiday season, when customers are most receptive to surprises and special offers. The goal is to strategically place the layer so that it immediately grabs the user’s attention and motivates them to visit the site every day.

5. What Advice Would You Give an Online Retailer Looking to Implement This Feature?

There are a few important things to consider before implementing the Advent Calendar. First, you should determine what content will be hidden behind the doors. This content should not only be attractive, but also relevant and appealing to your target audience. For example, a coupon code, contest entry link, or survey could be hidden behind the calendar doors. In addition, A/B testing can help determine the best possible version of the calendar.

6. What Are the Benefits and Opportunities for Online Retailers?

There are many benefits to implementing the Advent Calendar layer. It is an excellent tool for increasing brand awareness, customer loyalty and conversion rates. Daily interactions with the calendar create an emotional connection between the customer and the brand, leading to repeat visits to the site. This can lead to significant increases in sales and customer loyalty.

7. Which Industries Are Most Likely to Benefit?

The advent calendar layer feature is particularly beneficial for industries such as beauty, fashion and lifestyle. It also works well in the travel and leisure industry where daily surprises such as special offers or exclusive travel deals can be presented.

8. Is the Layer an All-Time Classic or Has Its Impact Been Underestimated?

For me, the Advent calendar is definitely a classic. It has proven to be an extremely effective marketing tool over the years and is well received by customers. Many companies only use it in the run up to Christmas, but it could also be used effectively on other occasions, such as company anniversaries or special promotions, to build customer loyalty and increase sales throughout the year.
