Recommendations are a popular way to inspire users, provide them with alternatives or to further boost shopping carts. But for many shops, product recommendations also require a lot of work – unless you use a smart recommendation engine.
The same applies to our customer LaShoe: Before using trbo, the recommendations were maintained manually and assigned to accessory products. An immense amount of work for the team. After deciding on trbo as a personalization tool, a revision of the previous strategy became a priority.
Together with the LaShoe, we conducted an A/B test to find out what effect the use of the trbo recommendation engine would have on the conversion rate.

The results were promising: personalized product recommendations on product detail pages filled with the trbo recommendation engine enabled LaShoe to significantly increase the conversion rate and save valuable time at the same time.
