Who are the people behind trbo? In our new series our employees introduce themselves – and answer five questions about themselves and their work. Today with Maike, who is a dual study programme student in our marketing team.
1. How did you hear about trbo and when did you start working?
I will soon be celebrating my one-year anniversary at trbo I joined trbo in mid-April 2019. I became aware of the working student position through my university. trbo is in a partnership with the IUBH and trains students in marketing.
2. What is your job at trbo?
I am a dual study programme student in marketing – often referred to as mini-marketing 🙂
During the lecture period I’m only working part-time (the rest of the week I’m at university), but during the breaks, I work full time. My tasks at trbo are quite diverse. They include writing blog and glossary articles, translating articles, whitepapers, case studies, etc. into English as well as supporting the organization of events. I also have projects of my own, for example creating a company presentation and maintaining our Xing and LinkedIn channels.
3. Would you rather? (Cross out what does not apply )
Gummi Bears – Chocolate
Coffee – Tea
Stairs – Elevator
Dog – Katze
Winter – Summer
Sneakers – High Heels
Cooking – Eating out
Beer – Wine
4. What would you have said 10 years ago about your current career choice?
10 years ago I was 10 years old and firmly convinced that I would become a teacher one day. Therefore, I probably wouldn’t have believed it if someone had told me that I was now studying Marketing Management. But back then I had no idea what that was exactly …
5. Is there anything you wouldn’t do for all the money in the world?
Tough question, as a poor student I am easily bribed. But even for a lot of money I would not eat living insects. That’s a real no-go for me.
