Save the Date: We are a part of the Bits & Pretzels and the DDCDays

Events! We are back at it at last! Although they “only” take place in the virtual world, we are happy to be back with speeches. And we will be raising the roof in October! We have two events coming up on October 1: You can virtually watch us at the Data Driven Commerce Days (01.10.20 at 11:00 am) and at the Bits & Pretzels (01.10.20 at 2:40 pm).

Bits & Pretzels: Virtual start-up festival instead of Oktoberfest bash

Due to the Covid pandemic, we have to live without the usual Oktoberfest bash of the Bits & Pretzels. But luckily this was not a reason for the organizers to cancel the entire Start-Up Conference! It was simply moved to the digital stage – and it was even extended! Instead of three days, there will now be a whole week of networking and inspiration for founders, startups and investors. Almost like at Oktoberfest, there will be table captains online, where you can start a conversation with other groups at their virtual “table”.

Furthermore, you can take part in the Founder’s Roulette, similar to the infamous Chat Roulette, where you are randomly connected with another participant. Anyone who wants to meet their new contacts can do so in the virtual café. And nobody has to miss out on the Startup Pitch and the Startup Village – these also take place digitally. For those who like to broaden their horizons, there will be 20-minute master classes at the Bits Academy.

We also have the opportunity to hold a masterclass this year with our partner Usercentrics. Hanna Waldenmaier, Head of Strategic Partnerships at usercentrics and our VP Account Management Anna-Katharina Knarr will talk about how opt-in optimization has become a marketing discipline in its own right and what exactly the GDPR has to do with it. If you want to learn more about this topic, don’t miss our masterclass on October 1 at 2:40 pm!

Data Driven Commerce Days: Strategies for smart & customer-centric commerce

Our second event in October: The Data Driven Commerce Days. The (german language) online event focuses on the use of data for customer-centric marketing & sales. How does a smart data strategy work? What recommendations for action and conclusions can be drawn from this data? These questions will all be answered at the DDCDays.

The first day of the event will focus on product data and pricing strategies. The second day will then continue with customer experience and marketing. On day three, assortment planning and fulfillment are on the agenda.

And we can’t miss out when it comes to data, can we? That’s right! That’s why we will also be represented with a speaking engagement. Our CEO Felix Schirl will be presenting together with Tom Kussmaul, Data Driven Marketing Manager at our customer Telefónica. Their topic: How Telefónica Germany is breaking down data silos and using this data for a target group-oriented, 360-degree approach to customer communication. Sounds good right? Join us for our presentation on October 01 at 11:00 am!
